Learning to use the new program. Pattern brushes are fun, but I need to figure out how to use them without abusing them.

Also, the color blending is very different, for some reason.

SAI die-hard here, any better features for MS5?
view edit delete reply
All of them. I used SAI for almost a decade, MS5 is just flat-out better in every way.

... if I can get used to the different color mix algorithm.
BB (Guest) edit delete reply
oh man even the stabilizer??
I gotta try MS5 out
view edit delete reply
They have stabilizer, gap fill, vector adjustment...

The only annoying thing is that control-Z undoes several strokes instead of one. Not sure why that is.
Bellar edit delete reply
I'd hazard a guess and say the Ctrl+Z probably has a setting somewhere that let's you adjust that
view edit delete reply
Ah, you're right. It's under "performance" for some reason.

More undo steps eats up more memory. And in an image editor, a single undo step can eat up a lot.
Sheela edit delete reply
There's a simple solution to that though, have lots of RAM. :)

If that's not a beautiful transition into colour, i don't know what is.
merle edit delete reply

I adore this transition.
Sheela edit delete reply
It transitions with a splash. :)

Pardon me if it's been asked before, but was the name "Scrub Diving" chosen because of the scrubbers that the cheating girl is using?

Aw yiss, here comes the color. interesting approach to the water splash. how much time do these pages take you on average?
view edit delete reply
An hour and a half
Brass (Guest) edit delete reply

view edit delete reply
That's kind of the point.
Hawk (Guest) edit delete reply
Ooo, very Wizard of Oz. Great work with the sudden splash of color.

Ah, turbulence, the great enemy of physicists and engineers everywhere. Remember: Quantum mechanics are easy. Turbulence is hard.

Interesting way of drawing the waves. Kind of a variation on Kirby Dots. The bubbles are a nice touch.
