two things!
1st. I love the hair work you did. Amazing!

Two. You made me look up Koan on Wiktionary. Now I also understand why one my favorite music artist is named Koan.

The hair is a struggle, since it's hard to draw wavy/kinked hair. I don't know the trick yet.

The trick is lots of work.
Lots and lots and lots of work.

But doing it artsy like this is also very nice.

It's kinda like how animal fur is in tufts, curly hair curls up in locks. It groups together when they're tighter curls. Wavy hair gather more when there is a lot of weight to it (more wavy at the end of really long and/or heavy hair). The problem with using premise textures like this to fill in space is its very static; it goes one direction and does fall like natural hair would. Don't get caught up in capturing every curl:) imply with line work what locks would show most and step back.

What you do is pretty cool, but you are still kind of doing outlines then doing lines inside it. To really do wavy locks properly, you want to do them in rows, starting at the front and working your way back. You can just doodle a squiggle then try to repeat that squiggle all the way along. I only know how to do this because I've got wavy hair

There are more, and will be more.

I figured, but it's nice (a slight understatement) to hear.

Interesting. So, was the seemingly unmovable Sean actually feeling overwhelmed/stressed/depressed even, before Alis turned up and brought some color into her life?

Sometimes routine becomes such a large part of a life, that it "greys out" everything else.
Sometimes, we have to reach out, and take the obvious challenges by the boob and shake it a bit.
Or something like that! :D
TeeKay edit delete reply
Or get grasped and shaken?

Alis definitely pulled Sean out of her rut. :)

Is that Allis with a moustache?
