I am recovered! Also, I designed a dating game and when I sketched some characters they came out... fun? viewhub.thecomicseries.com/comics/7/

I know someone wanted this sketch, so even though I deleted the page:

Yeah, feel free to doodle stuff based on my stuff. If you put it somewhere, maybe mention me.

I had a long comment on the nature of loose lines and how the sketch wasn't very anatomically correct, but I deleted the page because I'm very smart.

Your art keeps getting better, View, and I hope you continue arting for many years.

You probably get this question a lot but is there any chance of revisiting Cheer or at least getting an update on the characters?

I told the story, and I don't really have anything else in mind for those characters. I tried a few little things, but I could make it sparkle.

Characters are born for the stories they tell.

Interesting.

And here I thought that the stories existed to tell the life of your characters.

Oh Holy Carp! You're the author of Cheer! I remember when that first cam out and it was beeing spammed over 4chan and other sites.

Thank you for that one, it was fantastic with great story, characters, art, and sex. How can money be passed to you? patreon? amazon list? bartering yaks for more arts?

I don't need any money right now, but thanks. If I get fired from my day job, I'll probably change my tone.

Well if you ever need a new rig, drawing tablet, car, etc. please ask us. I am sure many of your fans would gladly contribute.

Yay Cheer! Still my favorite short comic.

Bartering yaks ? >_<

Yak : a large domesticated wild ox with shaggy hair, humped shoulders, and large horns, used in Tibet as a pack animal and for its milk, meat, and hide.
Matt (Guest) edit delete reply
Yaks are an excellent unit of monetary value.
Sheela edit delete reply
Sheela
Kinda bulky though ... imagine the wallet needed for yaks ?
RandomTroll (Guest) edit delete reply
I guess that's one way to unzip a sweater.

A sexy way! :)

Ya know, View.

Nobody minds waiting for you to update.

Nobody. And if they do mind they can suck it.

I don't mind because you're one of the few webcomic artists I can name that doesn't whine about or inject their political beliefs into their comics.

A lot of artists, webcomic or otherwise just can't help but trying to shove their "morally superior" bullshit down everyones throats with their mediums...

You don't

And I fucking appreciate that.

Well, that and the fact that he draws cute girls that are not entirely anorexic.

Well, apart from Alis, a little bit, but she's sick, so that doesn't count.

Very few of the webcomics I read include any kind of political bias, unless you count "cats are really cute" as a political view. Maybe that's just because I'm very selective in the comics I read?

There really aren't very many political comics, but obviously everyone has political opinions that bleed into the stories they write.

Sister Claire is literally "Political View" in the form of a webcomic

If you criticize the comic at all the idiots that make it will go full Autistic Screeching and ban you from their disqus

Those characters for the dating game look great, View. They are very distinct and memorable, and I can almost tell their personalities from their appearances.

Yeah, it's tempting to make the game, but all the software I've seen to do it is pretty annoying.
