Not a fix. Strong threads just tear through the fabric.

It seems the hanky panky will be in the report after all :)

Side note: What about the gun? Sean and Alis did a number on him, but I'd think the evidence would show him as the agressor, not the victim.

I mean, you can shoot someone in self-defense, and if where they are (America?) has concealed carry laws, it's not exactly proof of intent.

Police Report:

On-site witness A claims to have had sexual relations with suspect, witnessed by other witnesses (B, and C) on boat as an exhibitionist display including intercourse and oral sex.

Further more, video evidence submitted from prior encounter between Witness A and suspect shows additional sexual acts.

Psychiatrist observes that individuals appear willing and consenting to sexual activity with no clues towards coercion.

Ah.. so THAT's how Kara lost her phone... He didn't want to leave the evidence --> stole it.

I mean... I feel like he was the one to initiate the boat trip. Maybe there is something with her phone messages or.... HOLY CRAP THE PORN VID! They were filmed having sex by Sean... Is that what's about to come into play?

I really hope this is what's going to happen. My last prediction of the gps pins wasn't actually shown so I don't actually know if I was right but this seems plausible...

They pulled a GPS pin, although it wasn't shown because the pacing didn't pan out.

(Accidentally posted as a new comment, fixing it now) Ah ok, thanks for the confirmation. It makes sense to skip it if the pacing is off. I love the detail you put into the comics which is why I like to speculate. Your foreshadowing is awesome. :D

Don't forget that while the old phone is gone, Cara has *instant cloud* for her phone ... it's all saved to the cloud immediately. :)
TeeKay edit delete reply
TeeKay
Do we know that or are you just guessing?

I was just thinking that they probably would have that but wasn't sure.
Sheela edit delete reply
Sheela
She mentioned that she had instant cloud on page 324.

Thanks :)

Just a minor off-hand remark that may end up being anything but irrelevant over a hundred pages later. Perfect :D

Complexities!

Am I being really obtuse, here? I'm so sorry, but I really don't understand what exactly is going on either side of the chapter break. Have I missed something? Or is it just that I'm a lover, not a figher? :P

They were picked up by the Coast Guard, so now they're discussing the situation and what to do about Leio

Thanks! ... Does anyone who's LESS obtuse than me want to fill me in?
Lyon edit delete reply
Lyon
From my understanding, Leio was targeting some people who were in hiding as special witnesses to some unknown case. The boat they were on didn't have a gps so he could access 'restricted' waters and was attempting to plant a device that would supposedly send a targeted explosive drone to kill said people. The problem they are having legally is they cannot bring up the notion of the witnesses that are under protection and are trying to prosecute Leio while his legal team is trying to counter that he was only a terrified foreigner who was assaulted by the women. They are trying to show that he was doing this willingly and had alternate motives to his actions without actually revealing what those were.

It's a tough situation to be put in and while the girls know what's going on and so do their legal advisors, the issue is they cannot share everything (or really anything) of his actions without putting the witnesses at further risk from (presumably) whoever hired Leio.

I think that's the gist of it, though I may have gotten a couple details messed up.

You got it right, but I don't think it's important to understand it. The main character doesn't understand it.

I like understanding things, especially when it comes to your style and pacing. It gives a deeper appreciation of the comics and all the little things you put into them. (I'm also a very detail oriented person which is why I really love your comics)

Lyon, I agree with this 100%. Thanks for expressing so effectively why it matters to me that I understand what's going on in View's story.

Thank you all for explaining. I was really lost after the chapter change. Thought I missed a few pages!
