Hm, skullduggery is indicated. The game is afoot. Or afeet (I see two, maybe three?, games going on?)

I dont really get whats going on on this page .
Caliban (Guest) edit delete reply
They are getting ready for another underwater tour, but there are some newbies along this time.

Ponytail guy and the girl who makes the swimsuits are running off for some private time.

Mr. Speedo is going to teach the newbies the basics of using the O2 patches, so he tells the three experienced kids to take off and play (he's holding out 3 O2 patches for them).

The boy decides to stay with the newbies because one of the girl newbies ("I'm going to be outrageous.") was looking down his swim trunks in the last comic and he he kind of liked it.

This leaves our two heroines together, so they have the opportunity for some private time of their own.

(I'm horrible at remembering names.)

That was an excellent recap of this page. :)

I agree with G_g. This is way too obtuse. They arrive at the beach and someone is teaching "the basics" of something (not clearly explained). One guy gives the two girls three ride tickets (that's what they look like) and tells them to go play. No clue why he's the one giving them the tickets (not the instructor) or why he thinks the two of them are "three". Even though Caliban figured out most of it (and explained it well enough), too much is left to the reader to guess. I love your work View, but lately you're leaving the reader in a confused state way too often.

Looks like air bubbles on the "tickets" which is consistent with scrub diving patches in theme.

Scrub diving and scuba require some training -- scrub diving less so -- so unless they're going to a beach-side theme-park, you could probably assume that they're going diving again. If he's handing out scrub patches, and was nominated to educate them, then you can probably assume he has scrub certification or some such thing.

I think this might be something that context with coming pages will clarify for uncertain readers, but it felt like everything was there for the reader without extra exposition.

a problem i had was realizing who grabbed which arm in the last panels. did alis try to convince the guy to come play with them after he said he'd stay? or is it sean? from their skin color you can't be quite sure what's going on.

Darn.
Jojo (Guest) edit delete reply
When shown earlier in the series, the patches looked about 50-100% wider than the "tickets".

While I agree that some of it can be deduced from context if you've read the rest of the series, just a few words here and there to keep the reader on-track in the story wouldn't hurt.
Jojo (Guest) edit delete reply
Who is the the boy talking about when he says "you three"? Sure Sean well endowed, but I don't think she qualifies as two. :)
Jojo (Guest) edit delete reply
Oh wait! I finally figured this out. The hand with the tickets was the instructor's hand, not the boy's hand. <face palm> I agree with the comment someone made earlier that the long shot had Alis and Sean in a different part of the lineup from the boy which produced some of the confusion. The rest of the confusion on that panel was because the word bubble looked like it was the boy talking, not the instructor off-camera. Having the bubble-line come from off camer on the right would have helped.

Yeah, I'll see what I can do.

Thank you. That's much clearer. :)

Amazing how much difference changing one line can make.

Horror movie rule #1: Don't EVER split the party
Horror movie rule #2: If there is a black guy, he dies first
Horror movie rule #3: If there is a phone line or there is cell service, the line gets cut and the service gets dropped

I smell conflict in like 4 panels

OMG is adorable. How can you say no?

Also, view, I think the staging is off in panel one as the boy seems to be separated from the girls by tow other people. Ah Well. Still looks wonderful. Keep it up!

(and now for some sexy time behind the rocks).

I think what he meant, was that Sean and Alis wasn't standing next to the buy BOY in panel 1, but suddenly stand next to him in Panel 2.

Ofcourse, humans have this strange thing where they move around, so I'm not really worried about this.
Bellar edit delete reply

So what you're saying is:
The buy wasn't there, but you're still sold.

I thought he was asking for sexy time behind the rocks.
Another Random Troll (Guest) edit delete reply
Complete fail of a comment. Apparently putting words in the "Title" of a comment does nothing. Meant to say that the last panel is completely adorable.

Regarding the first panel, what Sheela said.

Also, what Winter said.

And yes, I'm totally sold on this. XD

People having such a hard time understanding this page, I don't get it. The only thing I found hard to figure out was whose hand Alis was grabbing, and that I'm inclined to believe is Sean's based on her shown tendencies to stick close to her and drag her off in private. It's all about context... really, context explains everything on this page.

That was my hope, but clearly I wasn't clear enough.
GolfClubNinja (Guest) edit delete reply
Don't worry view, it's clear, espicially once you get a couple more pages in from this.

What is not clear is what is going on with Alis, whether she is just encouraging the guy to come with them or if there is more to it, and that Alis may actually like boys as well. Mabye it's just the focus on the hand grabbing and alises expression plus the lines under her eyes.

I'm sure it will be cleared up in this chapter, mabye I'm just interpreting this wrong. I don't know.
