Alis is smugging it up in the last panel. I love it.

EDIT: Changed Alice to Alis. My bad.

Gotta take the chances for boasting when they come along!
The Paleontologist edit delete reply
Can I just say, that I think Alis' sunglasses look amazing. Sorta remind me of Miwa's shades.

I sorta want a pair. They're very Elton John-ish.
Sheela edit delete reply
Sheela
Those are some pretty classic sunglasses.
And she's rocking them. :)
Guest (Guest) edit delete reply
Maybe she's going for the 1960's John Lennon look.
RandomTroll (Guest) edit delete reply
View, can we just start a Kickstarter campaign, and you can just write stories that are just a ...bit more porny? Like Cheer....
view edit delete reply
view
Porn is boring!

But this chapter will have sex and nudity, at least.
Lee M edit delete reply
Lee M
I agree. Let's have less porn and more classy erotic art and literature.

While porn can be fine and dandy and all, it is a difficult medium to tell a story through. And we do so like a good story.

That said, if you want to read a more porny story, try out Alfie by InCase. It's good stuff. :)
RandomTroll (Guest) edit delete reply
Ya, but InCase is almost going as slow as View!

Also, the two of them should totally coop a short story or something.

aaaand just caught up to page 300 on "Alfie". Damn that's a good comic. Great art, but such a slow pace...

I don't think I'll be able to keep tabs on that comic daily. It's a good story, but not page by page.
Guest (Guest) edit delete reply
Yes! Sex _AND_ Worldbuilding plox. ;P

I loved Cheer, and while I liked the porn aspect of it, what made it great was the characters' vulnerabilities, the exploration, and the discovery of the whole thing. Anyone can write porn, it's all over the Internet. But it takes something else entirely to capture an intimate moment and make it both erotic and emotional.

So far, I think, Scrub Diving has been everything Cheer was, just as emotional and erotic, just without the blatant porn aspect. Anyway... that's my two cents.

-the commenter formerly known as "Guest" - got a name, figured I'd stick around. Sorry for the rant. :-)

Winter
Okay.. .now I got an official name.

Yay, a non-guest! Do you want a quick sketch in celebration?
Winter edit delete reply
Winter
I would be honored!

view
Do you want a specific sketch?
Sheela edit delete reply
Sheela
He he, welcome Winter, formerly known as "Guest". :)

And if you want an avatar from View, you need to be a bit more specific about what it should look like than "I would be honored" ! >_<
Winter edit delete reply
Winter
Sorry for not being specific. I was in a rush to work this morning. Something with Sean smiling and blushing insecurely. She's awfully cute when she's vulnerable.
view edit delete reply
view
I can do that!

Keep reading the author's comments, it'll be in the next page or two.

Hi, I've been ghosting on View's work for a couple years now. I've become a huge fan. The number 1 thing that makes me hesitate from sharing this wonderful art with others is the potential creep factor in the comments. Don't get me wrong. I'm not calling anyone a creep. There are just sooo many pages where a comment that I'm sure is well intentioned gives the whole thing a voyeuristic feel. It's like looking at a painting of a nude model with a bunch of eyes staring into the studio through holes drilled in the wall.
Sheela edit delete reply
Sheela
Hrm .. welcome to the internet ?

That said, I suspect that since he started out with porny stuff, he gets a bit more rowdy crowd than usual.
Also, lets not forget that this is not rated PG.

And, lets be honest, some of us thinks that sexual innuendo can be fun too.

The comments I get are a whole lot milder that most other comics I've read on the internet, so I don't really know what to say.
Sheela edit delete reply
Sheela
Oh, oh, I know !

"yes" :D
Aalbatr0ss (Guest) edit delete reply
Yeah. I know. Lamenting, not fussing.

Is there earlier stuff than NMTG I can track down?

A reader. (Guest) edit delete reply
Thanks. That got a laugh out of me. xD
Seafog (Guest) edit delete reply
Heh, View tends to forget his earlier work, Crater High.
Track it down and enjoy the early work feel. :)
Sheela edit delete reply
Sheela
You can find Crater High here.
It was never finished though.

His earlier porny stuff was done under his "Forview" name on hentai foundry, I'm certain that it's still there. :)
Winter edit delete reply
Winter
That's how I found him here. I read a page of Cheer on Reddit, found and read all of cheer, and then eventually found my way here after reading everything on hentai foundry. :-)
Sheela edit delete reply
Sheela
Ah, he also made one called "Les Comic", it's about lesbians, obviously.
Jojo (Guest) edit delete reply
Just checked and couldn't find anything by View or Forview on HF.
Karyl edit delete reply
Ah yes, sleep is grand and Alis finally got Sean to acknowledge it. :)I can almost hear the ocean, this is top-notch.
Shaylyn-KM edit delete reply
Shaylyn-KM
Yes! She's come to the dark side! >:D
... And by that, I mean it's dark because your eyes are closed and you're sleeping.

Ain't sleep grand.

Alis, I'm right there with you. But my sleep habits more resemble Sean's. Lucky girl got 8 in a row. So now I'm jealous.

I have a first gen YuFu Pro stylus on order, but I'm not part of the KickStarter order process, so... It was supposed to ship last week, still hasn't. If it ever shows up I'll be drawing again, too. I use you as inspiration, View; I'm significantly older, but your energy and focus has me looking forward to being artsy again!

I am as old as the hills, you young whippersnapper. But make sure you post some art!
eire1274 edit delete reply
eire1274
I built the hills. Yes, I am the hill engineer!

Seriously, unless you are of age to have a child preparing for graduation and college, I'm older. Too old to be here, anyway!

Heck, I haven't done a comic in 25 years!
Sheela edit delete reply
Sheela
We are all too old, but age matters not!

Posting some art sounds good though. :)
