I don't think Alis needs encouragement to stare at your bosom, Sean....

The amount of adorableness is going to kill me.

Super great work, view.

I really like that third panel.

Lots of detail despite the soft focus.
It came out really nicely. :)

I made two versions. The other one made the surface of the water clearer, but it made it feel a lot less... isolated.

Panel 3 would make GREAT computer desktop wallpaper...but the image would have to be rotated 90 degrees to the left or right to fit.

Awesome sense of scale. I like how the edges are grey and bleak but in the middle it is subtly colored--suggesting hope in the power of friendship and companionship as Sean and Alis swim side by side. I'd like the backstory to how everything got flooded over in-comic in an (agonizingly?) slow layer-by-layer reveal--like peeling an onion. Those kinds of stories, when done well, are the BEST kind of stories to read! :D

Panel 2: Alis' expression is CUTE! :D

Panel 1: View, you've gone and done it: you've (unknowingly?) created a (new?) diver hand signal women can use amongst themselves when a 'wardrobe malfunction' is imminent with their swimsuit.... :)

Well, either that or he would have to make a wider version of the image.

You're right though, it would make a nice desktop wallpaper.

I have a larger version, in that it's 4x larger in all directions.

Thanks for the compliments!

Any chance it could be turned into a wallpaper ?

She's watching for the chance to preemptively use mouth to mouth artificial respiration. Sometimes refereed to as upper persuasion for southern invasion.

Looks like a nice, peaceful neighborhood...

So how much are the rents? ;)

So was the world flooded or did California finally sink into the ocean?

I wonder!

Maybe it was the sea that crept up on land instead ?

Meanwhile the bottom of the sea is all dry now ! XD
Mister Flames edit delete reply
California isn't going to sink into the ocean, it's too high up. It'll just run into Alaska in a few million years.

I was reminded of your fine work today and came back to finish Spaaaaace Puuuulp! I loved it by the way. I'm really enjoying this new series too. I'm really impressed at how well you tell your story and paint the world its taking place in indirectly. Keep up the great work!

That lower panel is gorgeous. Out of curiosity, how long did it take? Seems like it would take a long time to draw.

Maybe 45 minutes.
