Oh, it's a struggle to get through so much talking. Basically, they can't talk in the half of the comic where they're underwater, so I guess they talk a bit too much when they aren't.

Anyway, here's a character design choice you might not consider: I tend to have my characters fall into the same spots and face the same way throughout panels.

This is because the order in the panels means something. A character that tends to speak first will tend to be on the left, and a character that tends to react more or get the final word in will tend to be on the right.

Sweet-Cheat is an instant enthusiast!
[She tends to underestimate her assets,
But she's going to make the breast of it!]

Much enthusiasm in second panel. :)

You always have fast neurons,
Propose names?

They have names.

I was curious to see what kind of nicknames the commenteers would think of.

Better hurry, then! They'll be revealed soon.

Probably be a non-productive gambit anyway...

Alas, my neurons have been lazy lately, and thus they're only known to me as scrub-girl and space-girl.

Perhaps an application of 'lubricant'?

@view: Are you eventually going to apply names to these lovely young ladies, or should we offer descriptors?

[I propose Sweet-Cheat and Nova.]

Actually, Nova is pretty close.

That is about as poorly disguised invitation to have sex combined with grab em if you want as I've heard. I've never heard one.

And if you lived in a society where we read from right to left, your first speaking characters would be to the right, and the one with the final word to the left.

It's all social-shorthand kind of stuff, I think. :)

I think I get your order process. That way the first lines begin on the left, so that it flows naturally for western readers. Smart. :)

Well, flow is a delicate thing. I do a little to try and make it flow well.
