Kinda struggling through these few pages, so pardon if the pacing is bad.

I'm getting hit by some rolling brownouts, so I don't think the comic will come today.

Still not noticing it.

The artist always sees flaws in his work, whether or not they're visible to others.

Seems a slow start, but nothing out of line or unusual. Ever been on a dive or snorkeling boat? It is a whole lot of hurry up and wait! THEN you get to the good stuff.

Being my own worst critic myself, my teachers always told me that the perfect is the enemy of the good. My friends told me to attribute the positive things to myself and what went wrong to others.

All proverbs and wisdoms didn't do a thing, it took time for me to accept my work, years ... hope this is only a phase for you, you are very good at what you do, even if you are not at your best (in your opinion).

Awesomeness gap detected !

Don't worry though, this is perfectly normal.

Brown outs ?

Dang, I haven't seen one of those since ... 35 years ago, and that was mostly because a thunderstorm knocked out a couple of powerplants in my area, so the other powerplants had trouble to keep up.
